COVID-19 scheduling changes:
EFFECTIVE MONDAY, MAY 4, 2020
WE WILL BE ACCEPTING MOST PATIENTS, INCLUDING THOSE WHO ARE IN HIGH RISK GROUPS, SUCH AS THE ELDERLY.
Along with the current COVID-19 precautions we will also be taking the following precautions:
1.Every patient will have their temperature taken at the time of arrival with a touchless thermometer. SHOULD YOU HAVE AN ABNORMAL TEMPERATURE, YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE RESCHEDULED.
2.All patients and staff will wear masks at all times.
3.You can continue to call us from the parking lot and we will notify you when your room is ready.
4.Please limit the guests who attend physical therapy with you to 1 person. If possible, that guest should remain in the car.
5. If you have any symptoms (cough, difficulty breathing, temperature, etc), please contact our office at 937-644-3311 and we will reschedule your appointment.
6.We will continue the aggressive cleaning program that was implemented at the beginning of March to protect you and our staff.
OUR GOAL, AS ALWAYS, IS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR HEALTH .
We plan to resume our normal business hours, however, due to decreased number of patients, we may have reduced hours. Please call ahead if you would like to stop by (e.g. for taping or to pick up a note) to ensure we are in the office.
If you have any questions, please call our office at 937-644-3111 and leave a message. If we are not in the office, we will return your call the next business day.
Marysville Physical Therapy takes the well being of the citizens of our community seriously. Your and your family's health is our top priority. As always, we wipe down the rooms and equipment between every patient. In addition, we are now wiping or spraying down frequently touched surfaces, such as door handles, grab bars, etc. with disinfecting spray several times per day. We also are disinfecting all surfaces on a weekly basis. If you are concerned about your safety, we encourage you to speak with your therapist.
Please call our office to talk to a therapist or reschedule your appointment if any of the following pertain to you:
If you have any symptoms of illness (for example, fever, shortness of breath, cough, sore throat, unexplained upset stomach, etc.)
- If you have traveled to a country with widespread, ongoing community spread (Level 3 Travel Health Notice countries), and have returned to the US within the last 14 days
- If you have been exposed to a person with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 within the last 14 days
Here's how you can help limit the spread of COVID-19:
Wash your hands, use hand sanitizer, and avoid touching your face.
Limit the number of people attending your visit with you as much as possible. We would prefer if only the patient and one visitor (if required) attend your visit.
For more information on COVID-19, please go to the Centers for Disease Control Website.

in the waiting room?
While most of our patients do not have to wait in the waiting room, if you are concerned, please call us from the parking lot. We will place you on hold, prepare your room, and allow you to walk straight into to your private treatment room.
Union County in
Why Marysville PT //
Our therapists have over 80 years combined experience. We have the knowledge and experience necessary to provide you the best possible care.
Our therapists are committed to educating themselves on current health care issues and treatments in order to provide you up-to-date professional health care. They are members of professional organizations, earned advanced certifications, attend continuing education courses, present professional lectures, and publish research. We are also proud to be educating the next generation of physical therapists and therapist assistants.
No Facility Fees
Facility fees are charges added to your bill to offset extra, administrative costs incurred by clinics affiliated with hospitals. These fees are paid by your insurance and a portion is usually passed on to you. Since we are not affiliated with a hospital, we do not charge facility fees, and you do not have to pay them. We are the only therapists in Union County that do not charge facility fees. For more information, click here. For a specific example from MPT, please see the Billing section of this web page.
Our therapists believe that education is an important part of managing your health care needs. We teach you exercises so that your rehab continues at home as well as in the clinic. You will be given exercises and instructions for an independent home program that will continue to increase your strength and possibly prevent future health problems or injuries. In fact, we will meet you at a local fitness facility to assist in starting an exercise program you can continue.
Value not Volume
Our therapists believe in doing what's best for the patient, not the clinic's bottom line. According to the APTA, "in response to cost-cutting pressures, some facilities have become productivity systems, that attempt to push PTs toward unethical practice (charging extra) to meet their unsubstantiated benchmarks (business quotas). One PT who asked to remain anonymous says, "You really start to feel the pressure—you know, 'Can't you get that patient an extra 15 minutes?' Or 'Can't you give that person an extra little bit here or there?'" These unethical practices only drive up costs for patients and their insurance companies.
